Performance Psychologist

Unlock your potential, elevate your performance
About Me

Hello, I'm Ellie. I’m a Chartered Sport and Exercise Psychologist and current professional cricketer, captaining Lancashire Women - a club I have represented since the age of nine. I have also represented England, Manchester Originals, Trent Rockets and MI London, alongside spending 10 years playing football for Liverpool FC.
My experiences as an athlete, combined with my professional training and practice as a psychologist, give me a unique perspective on the psychological demands of sport. I understand first-hand the highs, challenges and pressures that come with performing, competing and developing as an athlete - from the early stages of a sporting journey through to elite and professional environments.
I completed the QSEP Stage 2 pathway with the British Psychological Society (BPS), and my work as a practitioner has included working with Sale Sharks Women and across the Lancashire cricket pathway, academy and disability cricket programmes. Through my private practice, I have also had the opportunity to work with athletes across a wide range of sports, ages and levels of performance.
My aim is to create a supportive, challenging and individualised environment where athletes can develop the psychological skills and understanding they need to perform at their best, while also supporting their wellbeing, confidence and enjoyment of sport.
Whether you're looking to perform more consistently, manage pressure, build confidence, navigate injury or selection, or simply better understand yourself as an athlete, I’m here to help.
